Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Nitshield's scam scanner, resume builder, ATS checker, cover letter generator or interview preparation tools (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Nitshield analyzes job postings for common fraud signals and provides AI-assisted guidance. Scan results are informational only, are not a guarantee that a posting is or isn't a scam, and do not constitute legal, financial or employment advice. Always independently verify an employer before sharing personal information, paying any fee, or accepting an offer.

Similarly, our resume, ATS and interview-prep tools provide suggestions to help your application materials, but we don't guarantee any particular outcome such as interviews or job offers.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

The Free plan includes a limited number of scans, ATS checks and cover letters each month, reset on the 1st. Nitshield is currently free to use and we don't sell any paid plan. Plan features and usage limits may change with notice on the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, defraud or impersonate any person or business.
• Submit content you don't have the right to share, or that infringes another party's rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or scrape the Service beyond normal use.
• Use the scam scanner's output to help craft or refine fraudulent postings.

You retain ownership of the resumes, cover letters, job postings and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you (for example, generating a resume PDF or a scam score).

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nitshield is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses related to a job posting our scanner did not flag as fraudulent.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or to protect the Service and its users.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
