Fake job postings, fee-charging “recruiters” and cloned company profiles are everywhere, and they usually target people who are already under pressure to find work. At the same time, most rejections never come with an explanation, so candidates rarely learn whether the problem was the role, the resume format, or a posting that was never genuine in the first place.

Nitshield exists to close that information gap. Instead of asking a job seeker to pay for a review or trust an unexplained verdict, the site shows what was found and why, and leaves the final judgement with the person applying.

At a high level, the tools work by checking your input against documented, rule-based patterns. The scam scanner reads the wording of a posting and highlights signals that often appear in fraudulent offers — upfront payment requests, free-mail contact addresses, vague company details, unrealistic pay, pressure to move the conversation to a private chat — and shows the specific text that triggered each flag. The resume and ATS tools look at structure, section headings, contact details, dates, readability and keyword coverage against the role you are targeting.

These are automated assessments. They help identify potential issues and suggest improvements, but they do not guarantee ATS acceptance, an interview or a job offer, and they cannot confirm that a company is genuine. Results should be reviewed by you and, where the stakes are high, verified independently. Our disclaimer explains these limits in full.

We ask for as little as the tools need. You can scan a posting without an account, your resumes and saved work belong to you and can be deleted, and we do not sell personal information.
